Halloween Event at Tinker Nature Park

We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped to make the Halloween Event at Tinker Nature Park a success. A program of this size, upwards of 350 kids plus adults, is dependent on volunteers and the Rush-Henrietta community once again stepped up and delivered. Volunteers included Tinker Homestead Docents, R-H National Honor Society, Henrietta Youth Asset Team, Tinker Venture Crew, BSA Troop 750, Cub Scout Pack 332, Rotary Interact, Natural Helpers, and Friends of Tinker Park. I am also fortunate to have the help of Town Staff from various departments helping to plan, set-up and staff the event. Thank you to the Henrietta Sign Shop for signage and setting up traffic control, the Parks Department for set up and helping visitors safely cross Calkins Rd. Tina Thompson, the Town Historian for helping to oversee the Tinker Homestead, and Anita Tichacek from the Recreation Department who helps with the planning of the event and coordination of volunteers. Finally, a thank you to my co-workers Lora Abbott and Channing Crouse for all their hard work leading up to and during the event.
