Tree Recycling

The Christmas Tree Program was once again well supported by the community. Hundreds of trees were kept out of the landfill, in addition, 125 bags of food were collected and donated to the Rush- Henrietta Area Food Terminal (up from 85 last year). These donations help to restock the food cupboard following the demand of the holiday season. We would like to thank B&T Tree Service for donating the chipper service and 2 employees to assist in the recycling. Also, thank you to Friends of Tinker Volunteer Lois Dannenberg, and the Henrietta Parks Dept for helping to recycle trees. We also would like to thank the community for their continued support of this program.
Trees collected prior to chipping day.
