Annual Tree Recycling at Tinker Nature Park

Tinker Nature Park would like to thank all who participated in our annual Tree Recycling Program.
Hundreds of trees were kept out of the landfill and the mulch will be used to resurface the parks nature trail. In addition we collected over 70 grocery bags of food to the RH Area Food Terminal. Such donations are very important in helping to restock  the shelves following the Holidays.
Thank you to B&T Ree Service for providing the chipper and manpower both days. Also thank you the the Parks Department Employees Tom, Scott, Heather and Barb in the assistance of unloading trees on a not too pleasant weekend. Finally, thank you to the community for its continued support of this program.
