Upcoming Programs at the Hansen Nature Center

Saturday Garden Programs continue to be popular at the Hansen Nature Center. 

Linda Schamberger presented on attracting Bluebirds.
Rosita Cardi-Miller presented on the use of fresh herbs in cooking.

Upcoming program schedule for the month of March:

   Mar. 8th: Grafting of Woody Plants: Presented by Ted Hildebrant, Owner of Coldwater Pond Nursery. Ted's nursery specializes in the propagation of woody ornamental plants. He will describe and demonstrate the commonly used methods for grafting of ornamental and fruit trees.

     Mar. 15: Preparing a Backyard Habitat: Learn how to create a wildlife habitat in your backyard. Cornell Master Gardener John Colagrosso will share his experiences in developing his backyard as a habitat for a variety of wildlife
     Mar 22: Nature in Focus, (a course in photography), presented by naturalist Paul Schnell, Institute for Environmental Learning and professional photographer. Bring your camera and join Paul in learning how to improve your photographic skills. This program appeals to beginners, serious amateurs and pros alike. 

Programs start at 10:00am and are free and open to the public. Please call 359-7044 to reserve a spot as space is limited. Sponsored by the Town of Henrietta and the Friends of Tinker Nature Park.
