Historic House Archeology

Program to be held in the Hansen Nature CenterPresented by Archaeologist Justin Tubiolo of St. John Fisher, past president, and current trustee of the Lewis Henry Morgan Chapter (Rochester regional chapter) of the New York State Archaeological Association. He will discuss the useful application of historical archaeology to 19th century residences, using the homestead of William Mills in the Village of Mount Morris as his example. The Mills Mansion, a Federal style brick home was built in 1838, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
