Annual Egg Hunt at Tinker Nature Park

Tinker Nature Park hosted its annual egg hunt on Saturday, March 23. Cold weather did not dampen the spirits of the 275 kids that came out to collect eggs. Thanks to the Henrietta Recreation Department and the student volunteers from the Youth Asset Team who helped with this program.

  Tinker Homestead and Farm Museum presents:
Historic House Archeology
 April 6th:  10AM - Noon.
Program to be held in the Hansen Nature Center
 Presented by Archaeologist Justin Tubiolo of St. John Fisher, past president, and current trustee of the Lewis Henry Morgan Chapter (Rochester regional chapter) of the New York State Archaeological Association. He will discuss the useful application of historical archaeology to 19th century residences, using the homestead of William Mills in the Village of Mount Morris as his example. The Mills Mansion, a Federal style brick home was built in 1838, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
