Tinker Park had a beautiful day for its annual Harvest Festival. This year's attendance was by far the largest we have had for this event. Families enjoyed music, hayrides and learning about how honey is made and processed. We harvested over 300lbs of honey from our hives and we still have more to go! Thanks to all the volunteers who make this event possible and The Friends of Tinker Nature Park who help the Town of Henrietta sponsor this event.

Volunteer Beekeeper Damon describes the harvesting process while he extracts honey.

Volunteer Beekeeper Amy bottles the twice filtered honey.

Musician Dean Santos and surprise guest entertain the families waiting for the hayride.

Heidi and Teddy lead the way!

The Golden Eagle String Band entertain visitors throughout the day in the Tinker Horse Barn where cider and donuts were also served.

Tinker Homestead Volunteers Barb, Joan and Dorothy (not shown) answered questions for visitors to the Tinker Homestead.
