Kid's Photography with Ranger Bob

Aspiring young photographers came to the nature center to participate in the Kid's Photography workshop with Tinker Nature Park volunteer Bob Hodge. The fun-filled workshop gave the students an introduction to the basics of photography, and some time outdoors to practice their skills.

Ice Cream Social

On Saturday, July 19th, the Tinker Nature Park had its annual Ice Cream Social. Abbotts Ice Cream was served to all. Visitors enjoyed the sounds of the Okie Dokies as they relaxed on the warm summery day.

Long time Tinker Homestead volunteers Dorothy, Barb and Sandy gave tours of the cobblestone house along with Tinker family descendant Carol Aldridge.
