Seniors Make Herbal Soaps!

Seniors from the Don W. Cook Senior Center in Henrietta braved the snow and wind to come to the park and make herbal soaps. What a great time was had by everyone. If you are interested in having your group come by and learn to make herbal soaps using Tinker Herbs and Honey from our Bee Hives, just give a call to Arleen Oliver at 585-359-7044 or 7042.

Lunar Ski

The moon beyond the Park sign

Awesome!
T
hat is the only way to describe yesterday evening's Lunar Ski at the Hansen Nature Center. We had an amazing turn out of brave souls as the weather turned blizzard like towards the end of the evening. Starting out a bit overcast, the snow came in light and fluffy and then it cleared for a beautiful view of the full moon and stars. Before the snow cleared, reports we're coming in off the trails of thunder and lightning, adding to the excitement ending in white out conditions for the ride home.

Tim Pratt fitting ski's and snowshoes.

Tony DeVeto braves the storm.

Dave Oliver layered in snow!

Enjoying the Chili dinner after working up an
appetite on the trails.

T
HANK YOU to the Friends of the Tinker Nature Park and Hansen Nature Center for making the Event a success, we couldn't of done it without you.
