Eagle Scout Project

A HUGE Thank You to Ed Schmitt, One of the Tinker Beekeepers and the Eagle Scouts for choosing to tackle the Tinker Beehouse as their project this year. The beehouse was a sight for sore eyes and in need of much repair as you'll see from these before and after photos.

ARC Pays a Visit
Last month the ARC of Monroe County stopped by for a presentation on Bees.
Tim showed them how bees produce honey and beeswax from pollination to harvesting. They went on to learn how to use honey to make some wonderful melt and pour soaps.
