We had a lot of people stop by to see the bees at GardenScape this weekend. We extend a warm welcome to all our newcomers.

For all of you who are new or have been out of town for the Winter, we will have Professor Nick Calderone, from Cornell University, coming to talk with us on Friday, March 30th at 6:00pm at Tinker Nature Park. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP via email (or phone 359-7044) as soon as possible as space may be limited.

Nicholas W. Calderone, assistant professor of entomology
at Cornell University, does some fieldwork with honeybees.

The cost of the lecture/question and answer session is $5.00 at the door. The topic of the lecture is Chemicals in the Hive; then a question and answer session. This is a great opportunity to ask an expert those questions you may have before the season really gets going! I hope to see everyone there.
