Civil War Days

The 3rd annual Civil War Days was another success. Over 500 people attended the event and 8 different units where represented on the battlefield. The weekend kicked off with a concert from the "Excelsiors Coronet Band" on Friday night. The concert was one of the Henrietta Recreation's summer concert series.
On Saturday, the soldiers hosted the public in the living history encampments and then fought a battle in the afternoon. The Confederates occupied the battlefield with a decsive flank manuever against the Union. Sunday brought good fortune as the Union troops were victors at the end of the day The public was also treated to a Victorian Tea, Ladies Dress Show and a Civil War uniform program. Next years Civil War Days will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 3, 4, 5.
